Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter is Paper State, ABN 39 265 471 689, of 56 Wesley Street, Elanora Heights NSW 2101, Australia (“Paper State”, “we”, “us” or the “Promoter”).

2. Promotion Period

The Paper State $2,500 Giveaway (“Promotion”) commences at 9:00am AEST on Monday, 28 September 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on Sunday, 18 October 2026 (“Promotion Period”).

Entries and qualifying purchases must be completed within the Promotion Period unless otherwise specified in these Terms & Conditions.

3. Eligibility

Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.

Employees and contractors of Paper State, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.

Entrants must have a valid email address associated with their Paper State Society account so their eligibility and entries can be verified and winners can be contacted.

No purchase is necessary to enter. A purchase provides bonus entries as described in these Terms & Conditions.

4. How to Enter

To receive one (1) entry into the Promotion, an eligible person must be a member of Paper State Society, Paper State's loyalty and rewards program.

People who were already members of Paper State Society when the Promotion commenced are eligible and will receive their base entry.

New members who join Paper State Society during the Promotion Period will receive one (1) base entry.

Each eligible person may receive only one base entry for membership of Paper State Society.

5. Bonus Entries

Eligible entrants can increase their number of entries by completing qualifying activities.

Giveaway entries are separate from Paper State Society loyalty points and have no monetary value.

Email subscription bonus entries

An eligible entrant who is actively subscribed to Paper State's email marketing list when entries are verified for the draw will receive three (3) bonus entries.

This applies to both existing email subscribers and entrants who subscribe during the Promotion Period.

Entrants must provide the appropriate consent to receive marketing communications from Paper State.

An entrant who is not actively subscribed when entries are verified will not receive the three bonus entries.

Entrants may unsubscribe from Paper State marketing communications at any time. Unsubscribing does not affect their Paper State Society membership, base giveaway entry, purchase entries or other valid giveaway entries; however, they must be actively subscribed when entries are verified to receive the three email subscription bonus entries.

Instagram bonus entries

An eligible entrant will receive two (2) bonus entries for completing the designated Instagram action available through Paper State Society during the Promotion Period.

The action is recorded when the entrant completes the relevant action within Paper State Society and follows the provided link to Paper State's Instagram profile.

Because the Promoter cannot independently verify whether an entrant subsequently follows or continues to follow the Paper State Instagram account, completion of the designated Paper State Society action will be used to determine eligibility for these bonus entries.

The Instagram bonus can be earned only once per entrant.

Purchase bonus entries

An eligible entrant who places one or more eligible orders with Paper State during the Promotion Period will receive ten (10) bonus entries.

There is no minimum purchase amount.

Purchase bonus entries may be earned once per entrant only. The maximum number of purchase bonus entries available to any entrant during the Promotion Period is ten (10), regardless of the number of eligible orders they place.

An eligible order may be placed before or after the customer joins Paper State Society, provided both the eligible purchase and the entrant's membership of Paper State Society occur during the Promotion Period. If a customer places an eligible order before joining Paper State Society and subsequently joins before the Promotion closes, Paper State may match the order to the entrant using their customer details, including their email address, and award the applicable ten (10) bonus entries.

Normal product prices, shipping charges and Paper State's usual purchase terms apply.

Orders that are cancelled, fully refunded, fraudulent or otherwise determined to be invalid will not qualify for purchase bonus entries. Paper State may remove bonus entries associated with an invalid order before the draw.

6. Entry Verification

Entries will be determined using Paper State's available customer, loyalty, marketing and order records, including records maintained through Paper State Society and Paper State's ecommerce and email marketing systems.

Where reasonably necessary, Paper State may verify that an entrant has completed a qualifying activity before awarding the corresponding entries.

If there is a discrepancy concerning the number of entries attributed to an entrant, Paper State will determine the number of valid entries based on its records and these Terms & Conditions.

Entrants must not create multiple or false accounts, manipulate the Promotion or otherwise attempt to artificially generate entries.

7. Prizes

There are twenty (20) prizes to be won.

Each winner will receive:

$125 AUD Paper State store credit.

The total prize pool is:

$2,500 AUD.

Each eligible entrant may win a maximum of one (1) prize.

Each $125 Paper State store credit:

• is valid for 12 months from the date of issue;
• may be used towards any products available for purchase from Paper State, including applicable shipping charges;
• may be used in conjunction with other promotions or discounts available at the time of purchase, subject to the terms and conditions of those promotions;
• does not need to be used in a single transaction, and any remaining balance will remain available until used or until the credit expires;
• is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash; and
• cannot be sold or transferred to another person.

If the value of a winner's purchase exceeds their available store credit balance, the winner will be responsible for paying the remaining balance.

8. Winner Selection

The twenty (20) winners will be selected by random draw from all valid entries.

The draw will take place on Tuesday, 20 October 2026.

Each valid entry represents one chance in the draw. Entrants who have earned bonus entries will therefore have additional chances of being selected.

Once an entrant has been selected as a winner, that entrant will be removed from subsequent selections so that the twenty prizes are awarded to twenty separate individuals.

The Promotion is a game of chance. Skill plays no part in determining the winners.

9. Winner Notification and Announcement

Winners will be contacted using the email address associated with their Paper State Society account.

Paper State will make reasonable efforts to contact each winner.

Once winners have been verified, Paper State may announce the winners through Paper State's website, email communications and/or social media channels using each winner's first name and last initial.

By entering the Promotion, entrants acknowledge that their first name and last initial may be published for this purpose if they are selected as a winner.

10. Claiming a Prize and Unclaimed Prizes

Winners must respond to Paper State's winner notification within fourteen (14) days of the notification being sent.

Paper State will make reasonable efforts to contact each winner during the claim period.

If a winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within 14 days, is found to be ineligible, or otherwise fails to claim their prize in accordance with these Terms & Conditions, their prize may be forfeited.

Where a prize is forfeited or remains unclaimed, Paper State may conduct a further random draw from the remaining eligible entries to select a replacement winner.

Any replacement winner will be contacted and verified in the same manner as an original winner.

11. Validity of Entries and Fair Conduct

Paper State reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants.

Paper State may disqualify an entrant or invalidate entries where it reasonably believes there has been fraud, manipulation, creation of duplicate or false accounts, misuse of the Promotion, interference with the entry process, or other conduct contrary to these Terms & Conditions.

Multiple genuine purchases during the Promotion Period are permitted and each eligible order will receive the applicable ten bonus entries.

Creating duplicate Paper State Society accounts or otherwise artificially generating entries is not permitted.

Nothing in this section limits any rights an entrant may have under applicable Australian law.

12. Changes, Errors and Disruption

If the Promotion cannot be conducted as reasonably anticipated because of circumstances beyond Paper State's reasonable control, including technical failures, platform outages, errors or other unforeseen circumstances, Paper State may take reasonable steps necessary to administer the Promotion fairly and in accordance with applicable law.

Any material changes affecting entrants will be communicated where reasonably practicable.

13. Privacy

Paper State will collect and use entrants' personal information for the purposes of administering the Promotion, verifying entries, conducting the draw, contacting winners and providing prizes.

Personal information will otherwise be handled in accordance with Paper State's Privacy Policy.

Information may also be processed through service providers used by Paper State to operate its ecommerce, loyalty, marketing and promotional systems.

14. Email Marketing Consent

Joining Paper State Society or entering this Promotion does not automatically require an entrant to consent to Paper State email marketing.

Entrants may separately choose to subscribe to Paper State's email marketing communications to receive the three (3) email subscription bonus entries.

By subscribing, entrants consent to receiving marketing communications from Paper State in accordance with the consent provided at the time of subscription.

Marketing consent may be withdrawn at any time using the unsubscribe facility contained in Paper State's marketing emails.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not invalidate an entrant's Paper State Society membership, base giveaway entry or other valid entries. However, an entrant must be actively subscribed when entries are verified for the draw to receive the three email subscription bonus entries.

15. Instagram and Meta Disclaimer

This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram or Meta.

Entrants release Instagram and Meta from responsibility in connection with the Promotion to the extent permitted by law.

Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Promotion should be directed to Paper State and not to Instagram or Meta.

16. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer rights, guarantees, warranties or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

17. Acceptance of Terms

By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Paper State's decisions regarding administration of the Promotion, verification of entries and determination of winners will be made reasonably and in accordance with these Terms & Conditions and applicable law.
