The Inbox pages are designed to give you a simple place to capture anything that’s on your mind before organising it into your planner.
Use these pages to quickly write down tasks, ideas, reminders, notes, or anything you don’t want to forget. Nothing needs to be structured — the goal is simply to get it out of your head and onto the page.
At the start of each week, or at a set recurring time, you can review items in your inbox and move them to where they belong in your planner,, such as adding a task you took down in your inbox to your daily or weekly planning pages. Maybe you made a note in your inbox to "plan for camping trip" and this prompts you to add a new section to your planner called "camping" and in there add details about your trip and create new packing and shopping lists plus a to-do list.
Keeping an inbox means you always have somewhere to document those quick ideas even when you don't have time to action them. I love having my planner next to my bed and as those thoughts come rolling through (and then cycle on repeat preventing me from sleeping) I just jot them down in the inbox as I think of them and suddenly, my mind is empty and I feel 'safe' enough to fall asleep because i know nothing is going to fall through the cracks.
